About the position

The Japanese Bilingual Retail Store Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a retail environment while maintaining store standards. This full-time position requires proficiency in Japanese and at least one year of retail experience, focusing on customer satisfaction and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all store procedures are correctly handled based on company compliance standards.
• Provide a positive, seamless, and consistent customer experience.
• Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately with established cash control procedures.
• Provide support to fellow employees by helping to complete tasks and sharing knowledge.
• Resolve customer concerns with customer satisfaction in mind and escalate any issues to the store manager.
• Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
• Open and close the store, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Japanese bilingual - conversational level
• Minimum 1 year of retail store operation experience
• Basic MS Office skills
• Team player
