This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on client relationships and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial insurance, particularly in managing large premium volumes and complex accounts. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying service problems and program trends, developing solutions that align with customer expectations, and implementing service plans tailored for major accounts. In this position, the Commercial Account Executive is responsible for achieving a 95% retention goal on all assigned accounts. This involves a customer service focus that prioritizes understanding and exceeding client expectations. The role includes providing risk management services, which encompass contract review and analysis, as well as suggesting necessary policy changes or updates. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with client executives, insurance company brokers, carriers, and consultants is essential for success in this role. The Commercial Account Executive will also participate in presentations for new business opportunities and renewal meetings with existing clients. Mentorship is a key component of this position, as the executive will serve as a role model for Account Managers and Account Administrators within the Commercial Lines department. Additionally, the role involves negotiating renewal pricing, achieving renewal goals, proposing additional coverages, resolving account performance issues, and managing audits. Continuous professional development is expected, including maintaining an active insurance P&C license and pursuing relevant insurance designations.
