About the position

The Java and Spark Developer role at Infosys focuses on enabling digital transformation for clients through a global delivery model. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and big data technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Java, Apache Spark, and Spark SQL.
• Knowledge of data serialization formats such as Parquet, Avro, or ORC.
• Familiarity with data processing and transformation techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes.
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
• Experience in the Banking domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
