About the position

The Java/Angular Developer position is a long-term hybrid role based in Richmond, VA, requiring an experienced developer with a strong background in Java and Angular technologies. The role involves both onsite and remote work, with expectations to be onsite 2 to 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in IT, with a focus on software design, development, and testing of web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and code using modern frameworks such as Angular and Typescript.
• Develop and maintain web-based software applications using Java and J2EE architecture.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment to ensure best practices in software development.
• Utilize Azure DevOps or similar tools for code management and CI/CD pipeline.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle and MSSQL for database design and development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with Java, J2EE architecture, JSP, Servlets, JDBC.
• 6 years of experience with PL/SQL and MSSQL programming.
• 4 years of experience with front-end technologies using Angular.
• 6 years of experience with Eclipse and Tomcat.
• 6 years of experience with Agile SDLC best practices.
• 6 years of experience with Azure DevOps or similar for code management and CI/CD pipeline.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of experience with C#/.NET.
