About the position

The Java/Angular Developer position at MSys Inc. is a long-term hybrid role based in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in IT, specifically in Java and Angular development. This role requires both in-person and phone interviews, and the developer will work onsite 2 to 3 days a week or as needed. The position involves designing and coding using modern frameworks and technologies, contributing to the development of web-based software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and code using modern frameworks such as Angular and Typescript.
• Develop web-based software applications using Java, J2EE architecture, JSP, Servlets, and other technologies.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile SDLC environment.
• Manage code using Azure DevOps or similar tools for CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct software design, development, and testing of applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java and J2EE architecture.
• 6 years of experience with PL/SQL and MSSQL programming.
• 4 years of experience with front-end technologies using Angular.
• 6 years of experience with Eclipse and Tomcat.
• 6 years of experience with Agile SDLC best practices.
• 6 years of experience with Azure DevOps or similar for code management.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of experience with C#/.NET.
