About the position

The Java Angular Developer position at Rose International is a temporary role based in Richmond, VA, requiring a hybrid work model with onsite presence 2-3 days a week. The role focuses on developing and maintaining web-based applications using Java and Angular technologies, with an emphasis on strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java and Angular technologies.
• Design and code using modern frameworks such as Angular and Typescript.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment to ensure best practices in software development.
• Manage code using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• Participate in both phone and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT, specifically with Java and J2EE architecture.
• 6 years of experience with PL/SQL and MSSQL programming.
• 4 years of experience with front-end technologies using Angular.
• 6 years of experience with Eclipse and Tomcat.
• Strong understanding of Agile SDLC best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar for code management and CI/CD pipeline.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience with relational database design and development with Oracle and MSSQL.
• Familiarity with modern web-related technologies and frameworks.
