About the position

The Java/Angular Developer will be responsible for developing and delivering end-to-end software solutions for the Prime Risk Analytics Platform within a financial services environment. This role requires strong technology skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a global team to design and maintain sophisticated automated solutions that analyze client risk. The developer will enhance both the user interface and back-end components of the application, ensuring scalability and performance while adhering to project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver end-to-end software solutions for the Prime Risk Analytics Platform.
• Maintain systems that help Prime Finance analyze the risk of clients.
• Design and maintain sophisticated automated solutions.
• Work collaboratively with project managers and senior managers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Enhance the User Interface using Angular and popular frameworks like Highcharts and AgGrid.
• Develop and enhance the back-end application using Java (Spring Boot).
• Write unit test cases using JEST.
• Implement database changes (SQL Server) for end-to-end solutions.
• Integrate with internal and external applications using various interfaces (Kafka, API, file, etc.).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Engage in support activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance sector.
• Strong academic background with at least an undergraduate degree in a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong willingness to operate in a global team.
• Excellent Angular (5+ years) and TypeScript knowledge (latest versions).
• Excellent understanding of HTML5 and CSS (5-7+ years).
• Excellent Java knowledge (including Spring) (7-8+ years).
• Excellent SQL knowledge.
• Unix and scripting skills (Korn shell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Version Control System - git.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with AgGrid.
• Experience working with Highcharts.
• Experience with Apache Pinot.
