About the position

The Java/Angular Developer position at Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) involves working on a contract assignment for a premier financial services client in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on building highly scalable distributed solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business growth. The developer will engage in all aspects of agile software development, utilizing Java, Angular, and Spring framework to develop new features and infrastructure in response to rapidly changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions.
• Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Work primarily in Java/Angular, and Spring framework.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in building large-scale software applications.
• Experience in building web applications.
• Hands-on experience of Java, Spring Boot, Angular.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience of unit testing frameworks like Junit, mocking framework like Mockito.
• Experience of working on any relational or No SQL databases.
• Micro service architecture experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD process.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Knowledge of Graph QL.
