About the position

The Senior Java/Angular UI Developer role at World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) involves designing and developing user interface applications with a strong emphasis on Java and Angular technologies. The position requires a deep understanding of infrastructure management alongside development skills, making it essential for candidates to have extensive experience in both areas. The role is primarily onsite in Pennington, NJ, with a hybrid work model of three days in the office and two days remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interface applications using Java and Angular.
• Lead service API design and manage reusable artifacts and interface specifications.
• Gather requirements from business users and partners, analyze technical specifications, and generate design documents.
• Troubleshoot code issues across multiple platform and tiered environments.
• Define and support architecture principles, patterns, and implementation best practices.
• Provide education and inspire change through documentation and presentations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in User Interface applications architecture and development.
• Proven experience with JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, modern JS frameworks, HTML5, and Angular.
• Integration development experience with Java/J2EE, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of JAVA/J2EE for coding and troubleshooting.
• Experience with client-side technologies such as Bootstrap, HTML, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, ExtJS, React, JSF, JSP.
• Experience with databases like MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with build and development tools like Eclipse and Source Control Management (SCM) tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial industry is desired.
• Knowledge of Application Server integration, preferably JBoss 5 or later.
• Familiarity with Apache Web Server.
