About the position

The Java API Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining APIs and Java-based applications. This role involves creating prototypes, writing clean code, testing software, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with teams to ensure applications meet business goals and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Design prototypes and interactive web applications that meet business goals and user needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices.
• Test software to ensure it meets requirements and performs well.
• Maintain existing APIs and Java-based applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot programs to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance software functionality.
• Create design documentation for applications.
• Provide technical support to software users.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience in designing and developing APIs.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
