Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and test product specifications for XVP-sports API.
- Act as a technical resource on several features, application programming interfaces, and practices within a squad of developers.
- Work closely with product owners and collaborate with developers across multiple teams within the same domain.
- Participate in the definition of application programming interface requirements and service integration touchpoints.
- Partner with quality assurance to document integration and test plans.
- Follow software development life cycle to implement new features.
- Create integration tests that run with every code commit.
- Assist in the development of automation of service consumption.
- Build monitoring and alerting for live application programming interfaces and services.
- Build service resiliency and reliability.
- Drive devops portion of development, including deployments and CI.
- Maintain operation stability and corporate standards.
- Deliver security team requirements to secure and harden applications.
- Document and maintain defects and enhancements in the company issue management system.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java
- Understanding of Project Reactor and Spring boot 3
- Experience with creating and testing Rest APIs
- Experience with DevOps
- Experience with Continuous Integration
- Exposure to Terraform
- Exposure to Cloud Deployments
- 5-7 years of relative work experience
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
