About the position

The Java API Full Stack Developer role involves designing and developing robust APIs and web applications using Java and related technologies. The position requires a strong foundation in programming, particularly in Java and JavaScript, and experience with RESTful services. The developer will engage with technical teams, contribute to code repositories, and create automated pipelines for software deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based APIs and web applications.
• Design and implement RESTful services following best practices.
• Create real-time streaming solutions and integrate with external applications.
• Review client application configurations and architecture.
• Lead engagement forums to interact with technical teams and address queries.
• Contribute to code repositories and meet automation requirements using Git.
• Create and revise Runbooks on Confluence pages.
• Break down complex problems using design patterns and best practices.
• Build automated pipelines for software integration and deployment.
• Develop monitoring and automation software for resilient platform operations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Java and API development.
• Strong foundation in Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Experience with web technologies, API design principles, and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Unix scripting.
• Ability to review client application configurations and architecture.
• Experience with database technologies such as Snowflake, Postgres, PL SQL, or No SQL.
• Proficient in Git for code repository management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Snowflake database technology.
