About the position

The Java Architect position is focused on designing and implementing robust Java-based applications, leveraging various frameworks and technologies. The role requires expertise in Java J2EE, Spring frameworks, and microservices architecture, with an emphasis on developing secure and efficient RESTful services. The architect will also be involved in managing containerized applications and integrating with various database systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java-based applications using J2EE and Spring frameworks.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture.
• Integrate with SQL databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Consume and develop REST clients for third-party REST and SOAP services.
• Secure APIs using JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID.
• Manage Docker containers and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java J2EE and Spring frameworks (Spring REST, Spring Batch).
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in NoSQL caching and message queue technologies like Kafka.
• Good working knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with REST and SOAP services, including JSON and XML.
• Understanding of API security mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, OpenID).
• Familiarity with Docker and Jenkins for CI/CD.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with API security using Spring Security.
• Exposure to additional message queue technologies.
