About the position

The Sr QA Automation Developer role focuses on ensuring the quality of software through automated testing in the telecom domain. The position requires extensive experience in automation tools and frameworks, particularly JMeter and Selenium, as well as a strong understanding of REST API automation. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and the development of QA scripts to enhance software quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, Adhoc testing and Regression testing.
• Interaction with multiple stakeholders - Vendors, development teams, engineering teams, and deployment teams.
• Development of QA scripts/process automation to verify various services.
• Develop Test Cases for verification and validation of product functionality.
• Testing email clients including web and desktop clients.
• Write and execute functional and regression test cases and test scripts for multiple projects to ensure the software follows specifications.
• Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and improve software tests and overall quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in JMeter and Selenium.
• 7+ years of experience in Cucumber.
• Experience in the telecom domain is mandatory.
• Good knowledge in Java and REST API Automation.
• Experience with email protocols such as IMAP and SMTP is a plus.
• Experience in the SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) process with a strong security focus.

Nice-to-haves

• Web accessibility testing experience.
• Email domain knowledge.
