The Java AWS Architect position is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in both Java and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have between 10 to 12 years of experience, with a strong focus on property and causality, and a proven track record of leading digital projects. This role involves guiding the refinement of features and ensuring that all technical deliverables meet client standards and processes. In addition to technical expertise, the architect will participate in PI Planning sessions to define features to be developed in each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint. They will also be involved in all new Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions, providing innovative solutions, designs, and estimates. The role requires staying updated with the latest AWS services and having hands-on expertise in the necessary AWS tools. The architect will design, develop, test, and deploy critical application components while coordinating with offshore teams to integrate all code components. They will create and maintain standardized documentation for the solutions implemented and work closely with testing teams to enhance automation testing across different environments. Effective communication and collaboration with both onsite and offshore teams are essential for resolving impediments and ensuring project success.
