About the position

LTIMindtree is seeking a highly experienced Java AWS Architect to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This full-time position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in application development and architecture. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior managers to identify and address business-specific application needs, ensuring that our solutions are tailored to meet the unique challenges faced by our clients. The role involves compiling and implementing comprehensive application development plans for both new and existing applications, leading a dedicated application development team through the design, testing, and modification stages of the development lifecycle. As a Java AWS Architect, you will be responsible for demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback to refine our solutions. You will write scripts and code for applications, as well as manage the installation and updating of these applications. Mentorship is a key aspect of this role, as you will guide junior application developers and provide technical support to end-users. Additionally, you will run diagnostic tests and perform debugging procedures to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. Your responsibilities will also include performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration, as well as documenting application development processes, procedures, and standards. Staying abreast of trends in application architecture will be crucial as you integrate these insights into our development projects, ensuring that LTIMindtree remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.
  • Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing applications.
  • Leading the application development team and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages.

  • Writing scripts and code for applications, as well as installing and updating applications.

  • Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.

  • Integrating trends in application architecture in application development projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an application architect, preferably in Banking Domain.
  • Highly proficient in programming languages, such as SQL, Java, Python, Node.
  • Acute learner in advanced application development paradigms such as Enterprise Integration Architecture, API Management etc.
  • Proficient in Application development with Cloud native services preferably AWS.
  • Exceptional knowledge in Domain Driven Design.
  • Expertise in Object Oriented (OOPs), Object Relational (ORM) programming concepts.
  • Well-versed in Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Great collaboration and communication skills.
