About the position

The Java AWS Developer role involves working on the design, development, and implementation of complex application systems using Java and AWS technologies. The position requires collaboration within teams to achieve common goals and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This is a contract position that mandates onsite presence from day one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with teams to design and build complex application systems.
• Utilize Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and documentation for Java/J2EE systems.
• Work with relational databases and web service technologies including SOAP/REST.
• Manage source code using SCM tools such as GIT and Jenkins.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Microservices, and AWS.
• Experience with PL/SQL and relational databases like Oracle/SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design methodologies.
• Familiarity with web service technologies including SOAP and REST.
• Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, Maven, and Tomcat.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Java Design Patterns and JUnit testing framework.
