Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Java AWS Developer with experience in developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. As a member of our digital software team, you will engage in the development of high-demand applications, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable working software efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Develop platform solutions using Java/Python.
  • Set up policies and configurations for tools.
  • Articulate and represent developed functionality.
  • Participate in Agile practices and sprint planning.
  • Summarize work to onshore as well as leadership team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (IAM Management, RedShift, S3, Athena).
  • Programming experience with Java/Python.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in user authentication, authorization, data encryption, tokenization, and masking.
  • Knowledge/experience with Protegrity is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data security tools like Denodo, Protegrity, Okera, Immuta, etc.
