About the position

The Java AWS Developer role involves designing and developing Java-based applications, particularly focusing on microservices and APIs, while leveraging AWS cloud technologies. Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the overall system architecture, including technology stack, data flow, and integration points.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead the design and development of Java-based applications, including microservices and APIs.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to address business needs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and support of applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Java development and architecture.
• Strong understanding of Java EE and Spring Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Certifications in Java or cloud technologies.
