A prestigious financial company is seeking a skilled Java Back End Developer to join their team in a hybrid work environment, requiring three days onsite and two days remote. This permanent full-time role is critical for supporting the application development of both Real Time and batch applications that align with business requirements within an agreed architecture framework and Agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java development, particularly in Real Time environments, and will be responsible for thoroughly analyzing requirements, developing, testing, and documenting software quality to ensure proper implementation. The Java Back End Developer will follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet explicit and implicit quality standards, end-user functional requirements, architectural standards, performance requirements, audit requirements, and security rules. The role also involves performing application and project risk analysis, recommending quality improvements, and assisting Production Support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required. Clear and concise communication regarding any time delays or defects in the software to appropriate team members and management is essential. Additionally, the developer will be expected to resolve security vulnerabilities as they arise, ensuring the integrity and security of the applications developed.
