About the position

The Java Developer position at Infosys focuses on translating software requirements into functional and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks. Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into working solutions within existing application frameworks.
• Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks.
• Identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment.
• Contribute to developing and adhering to best practices for scalable application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in full-stack development of enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SOAP, REST Webservices, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Knowledge of DB technologies such as Oracle, PL/SQL, or Postgres.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Back-End development of enterprise applications using J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Splunk, New Relic, Unix, Gitlab, Jenkins.
• Experience with ReactJS, Node.js, WebLogic.
• Knowledge of Lean / Agile development methodologies.
