About the position

The Java Back End Developer position at Infosys involves interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency throughout various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
  • Create high-level design artifacts for software applications.
  • Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing related to the software.
  • Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Participate in a collaborative learning culture within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in full-stack development of enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Javascript, SOAP, REST Webservices, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Experience working with Telecom Service Providers in the OSS space.
  • Knowledge of TMForum, eTOM, MEF, NGOSS standards.
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, PL/SQL, or Postgres, including writing queries.
  • Knowledge and experience with the full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Telecom Service Providers in the OSS space.
  • Knowledge of TMForum, eTOM, MEF, NGOSS standards.
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, PL/SQL, or Postgres.
