We are seeking a skilled Java Back End Developer to join our prestigious financial company. This role is pivotal in supporting the application development of both Real Time and batch applications, ensuring that business requirements are met within an agreed architecture framework and Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly in Real Time environments, and will be responsible for thoroughly analyzing requirements, developing, testing, and documenting software quality to ensure proper implementation. The Java Back End Developer will follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet both explicit and implicit quality standards. This includes adhering to end-user functional requirements, architectural standards, performance requirements, audit requirements, and security rules. The developer will also be responsible for external facing reporting and will perform application and project risk analysis, recommending quality improvements as necessary. In addition to development tasks, the developer will assist Production Support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required. Clear and concise communication is essential, particularly in reporting any time delays or defects in the software to appropriate team members and management. The role also involves experience with resolving security vulnerabilities, ensuring that the applications developed are secure and robust.
