A prestigious financial company is seeking a skilled Java Back End Developer to join their team in a hybrid work environment, requiring three days onsite and two days remote. This permanent full-time role does not offer sponsorship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly in real-time environments, and will be proficient in frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot. The developer will be responsible for supporting the application development of both real-time and batch applications, ensuring that all business requirements are met within the agreed architecture framework and Agile environment. The role involves thorough analysis of requirements, development, testing, and documentation of software quality to ensure proper implementation. The developer will follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet explicit and implicit quality standards, end-user functional requirements, architectural standards, performance requirements, audit requirements, and security rules. Additionally, the developer will be responsible for external-facing reporting and will perform application and project risk analysis, recommending quality improvements as necessary. The Java Back End Developer will also assist production support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required. Clear and concise communication is essential, particularly in reporting any time delays or defects in the software to appropriate team members and management. The candidate should also have experience in resolving security vulnerabilities, ensuring that the applications developed are secure and robust.
