About the position

The Java Backend Developer III position is designed for a skilled developer who is passionate about creating high-quality software solutions. This role involves extensive application development, requirement analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling customer experiences. The developer will engage in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing primarily on coding in Java and ensuring robust testing and documentation practices are followed.

Responsibilities

• Application development.
• Conduct requirement analysis, design products, and program computer software that requires extensive research.
• Implementations and understanding of the code system.
• Collaborate with Full-Time Employees (FTEs).
• Perform unit testing, functional testing, blackbox testing, and manage the release process and documentation throughout the entire lifecycle of development.
• 80% coding in Java.

Requirements

• 2-10 years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Good experience with Database schema in SQL.
• Advanced study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions and compelling customer experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively to analyze and address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems and agile methodologies.

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $78/h (depending on skills and experience) under a W-2 contract.
