About the position

The Java Backend Developer role involves developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot, with a focus on Agile methodologies. The position requires extensive experience in software development, particularly in Java, and familiarity with various tools and technologies for performance testing, data analysis, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.
• Implement API testing and performance testing using tools like JMeter and Postman.
• Utilize Kafka for messaging and data streaming.
• Analyze and visualize application data using Splunk and ELK.
• Work with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Capture user experience metrics using Quantum Metrics and IBM Tealeaf.
• Write unit tests using JUNIT and Mockito.
• Migrate applications from Monolithic Architecture to Microservice Architecture.
• Collaborate in Agile development teams and apply XP principles.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• 4+ years of experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging.
• Proficient in API testing and performance testing tools like JMeter and Postman.
• Familiarity with Splunk and ELK for data analysis.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with user experience tools like Quantum Metrics and IBM Tealeaf.
• Strong knowledge of JUNIT and Mockito for testing.
• Experience in migrating from Monolithic to Microservice Architecture.
• Extensive experience in Java and creating RESTful services using Java JSON.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and XP principles, including TDD and continuous deployment.
