About the position

The Senior Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using Java and microservices architecture. This role focuses on leveraging advanced programming skills to enhance system performance and scalability while ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend systems using Java.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for various applications.
• Work with microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Java backend developer with a strong understanding of Java programming language.
• Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
