About the position

The Java Backend Developer role involves developing and managing highly available distributed applications using Java and related technologies. Responsibilities

• Develop and manage highly available distributed applications using Java.
• Design and implement REST APIs using JSON and other messaging protocols.
• Utilize toolkits such as Spring Boot, Git, Docker, and DevOps tools for application development.
• Implement security best practices to protect devices and data.
• Develop cloud-native applications covering infrastructure, platform, and software as services.
• Work with AWS services including API Gateway, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Java application development.
• Expert level technical knowledge in cloud-native application development.
• Good understanding of design patterns for scalable applications.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, Groovy, etc.
• AWS technical knowledge in various services like EC2, S3, and CloudWatch.
