About the position

The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for conceptualizing, building, and enhancing cutting-edge products. This role involves software requirements analysis, customizations, enhancements, integrations, and production deployments for customers and partners.

• Conceptualize and build cutting-edge products.
• Analyze software requirements and implement customizations and enhancements.
• Integrate systems and manage production deployments for customers and partners.

Requirements

• Excellent capabilities in Java applications and Object Oriented concepts.
• Deep functional knowledge and hands-on design and development experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Extensive experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven, AngularJS, HTML, and XML.
• Ability to write production class Map/Reduce (good to have).
• Solid grasp on relational database modeling and design (Oracle, Postgres).
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Hadoop.
