About the position

The Java Backend Developer role in Irving, TX is a contract position focused on leading the development of complex systems using Java and related technologies. The position requires a strong understanding of system design and analysis, as well as the ability to collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to meet business needs. The developer will be responsible for implementing new systems, correcting software errors, and enhancing performance through hardware upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead Java developer with ADF experience.
• Understand low-level design and work on the development of medium to highly complex systems.
• Collaborate with data and project managers to understand systems and consult with subject matter experts.
• Develop and implement new systems and correct software errors in existing systems.
• Work to improve performance through hardware upgrades.
• Manage computer systems in a business environment and resolve technical issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge in programming, data structures, computer systems, and software engineering.
• Manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Communicate superiorly in written and oral forms.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java, Spring Reactive with ADF, Redux, React, Microservices, SpringBoot, SSR/IONIC, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience in system design and analysis.
• Strong business skills and ability to consult with subject matter experts.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and resolve technical issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with UI/UX and Micro front end development.
