About the position

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in developing backend systems, with deep expertise in Java and related technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend services, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure robust code.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team practices.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in backend development and cloud services.
