About the position

Kforce is seeking an experienced Java/Camunda Developer to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing business process management solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Camunda BPM and a strong background in Java development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Implement and maintain business processes using Camunda BPM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Optimize performance of BPM workflows and ensure scalability.
• Integrate Camunda BPM with other applications and services.
• Support the design and development of solutions leveraging DMN (Decision Model and Notation) when applicable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business processes and workflows.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in Java development and BPM technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Proficiency in Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM is required.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry certifications in Java or related technologies.
• Experience with DMN (Decision Model and Notation).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
