About the position
The Java Cloud Architect position is focused on designing, building, and testing cloud-based applications, primarily utilizing AWS services. The role requires leading a technical team and involves hands-on experience with both cloud and non-cloud technologies, emphasizing event-based real-time processing systems. The architect will be responsible for ensuring effective processing timelines and implementing service-oriented architecture principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test cloud-based applications.
- Lead a technical team with expertise in cloud and non-cloud technologies.
- Develop solutions for event-based real-time processing systems.
- Utilize AWS Cloud Services for application development.
- Implement service-oriented architecture principles.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on design experience for cloud-based applications.
- Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Services including API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, EC2, S3, AWS RDS, ECS, Route53, KMS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, VPC, EKS.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (event-driven SOA, Web Services, REST, ESB).
- Proficient in using Relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Neo4J) databases.
Nice-to-haves
- In-depth experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
