About the position

We are seeking a Java Database Developer - Level III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database-driven Java applications, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. This role involves collaboration across teams, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database-driven Java applications.
• Ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of applications.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement applications utilizing J2EE Application Server.
• Build and consume Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Design and optimize database queries and procedures in Postgres and Mongo DB.

Requirements

• 8 years of strong experience in Java development, including extensive experience with J2EE, Servlet and related technologies.
• 8 years of strong development experience in implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Java security authentication and authorization of service and user accounts.
• 8 years of proficiency in using Servlets, Spring and Spring Batch for web application development.
• 4 years of experience in ad hoc data analysis and reporting.
• 4 years of strong experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• 4 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Maven & Jenkins.
• 4 years of experience in Full Stack Development and working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and JSF and Prime Faces 7.0.
• 4 years of experience in design and development of XSD and schematron data validation rules.
• 4 years of experience in at least one application server configurations (WildFly, Tomcat or WebLogic).
• 4 years of expert level understanding of Mongo DB and Postgres databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, aggregate operations and performance tuning.
• 4 years of experience in designing & optimizing database queries and procedures in Postgres and Mongo DB.
