About the position

The Java Developer 11/111 position at ProSidian involves providing support to the Business System IT department at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. The role focuses on developing and maintaining applications using Agile methodologies to support various business departments, including Accounting, Procurement, and Human Resources. The developer will also be responsible for creating interfaces between enterprise systems and in-house applications, conducting initial testing, and collaborating with QA Analysts to ensure quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications that support the company business departments using Agile methodology.
• Create interfaces between enterprise systems and in-house applications.
• Perform initial developer testing and resolve issues during user acceptance testing in collaboration with customers and Business Analysts.
• Support QA Analysts in developing fully documented test plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 9 years of experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Java development, including Servlets, JSPs, Maven, Eclipse, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, and SQL data manipulation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Query, Tomcat, and Open Source Libraries.
