Apex Systems is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join a Fortune 200 company located in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is primarily focused on enhancing new features and modernizing applications specifically for credit applications. The role requires a strong foundation in Java development, particularly with Java 8 or higher, and experience with frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot. The developer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining web services using REST and SOAP protocols, as well as utilizing JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React for front-end development. The position will involve deployment processes using Docker and Kubernetes, making familiarity with these technologies essential. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in Java development, demonstrating a strong understanding of Java frameworks, particularly Struts. Additionally, knowledge of the DevOps code development process is crucial for this role. The Java Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications are not only functional but also optimized for performance and user experience.
