About the position

The Java Developer 3 position at TechSphere Innovations involves developing and implementing moderately complex software applications under the guidance of a Manager or Senior Team Lead. The role focuses on supporting the development of MathWorks applications, designing web-based software applications, and participating in various stages of web application development projects. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in MATLAB-based web services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement moderately-complex software applications.
• Support the development of MathWorks applications that help teams measure product quality.
• Design extensible web-based software applications using software engineering principles, patterns, and methodologies.
• Participate in web application development projects from requirements gathering and design to implementation, qualification, and validation.
• Assist cross-functional team members in engineering, quality engineering, user experience, and documentation.
• Increase productivity and bring quality features to market.
• Work with subject matter experts to pursue continuous improvement of MATLAB-based web services.

Requirements

• Going degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Development Applications Engineer (or related occupation) performing development or testing of full-stack web applications.
• Competent in Data Modeling.
• Proficient in Snowflake, Kafka, Data Management, ClickHouse.
• Expert in Database Design, ETL, SQL, JAVA, Database Development, PostgreSQL.
