The Java Developer & Automation Tester role is a hybrid position focused on enhancing mission-critical financial systems for government clients. This position combines Java development with automation testing expertise, requiring a professional who can design, develop, and test software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java applications for mission-critical financial systems.
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Support the development of testing suites and execute automated tests.
• Investigate and implement creative solutions to improve software performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 or later, including syntax, data structures, and OOP principles.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Protractor, Jasmine, and JMeter.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with writing shell and Python scripts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ansible.
• Certification in Java development or automation testing (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer, ISTQB).
• Experience with Angular development.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Knowledge of Cucumber testing framework.
