About the position

This position is for a contract role focused on developing web applications using Java/J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a large enterprise environment and will be responsible for creating robust and scalable applications. Key technologies include Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, with a preference for Spring Boot. The role requires expertise in RESTful web services and a solid understanding of user interface design.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Utilize Java frameworks, particularly Spring and Hibernate, to build scalable applications.
• Implement RESTful web services and manage application deployment on Tomcat.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for database interactions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in web application development with Java/J2EE.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java 1.7 or above.
• Expertise in RESTful web services, Tomcat, and JSP.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and working with databases.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
