About the position
The Java Developer (Backend) position at V-Soft Consulting involves developing backend eCommerce web and merchandising applications using modern technologies. The role requires significant experience in Java programming, microservices architecture, and various database technologies, with a focus on delivering quality solutions in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend eCommerce web and merchandising applications in on-prem and cloud platform technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on the design and implementation of the product.
- Work with engineers from the full stack to build and ship features.
Requirements
- Significant Java programming skills and data structures.
- Significant microservices architecture and development skills.
- Significant experience with the Spring Framework (Persistence, REST, Messaging).
- Significant experience with Azure-based technologies.
- Significant knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Postgres, Cosmos, Oracle).
- Significant experience in messaging architectures and development (Kafka, Azure Event Hub).
- Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principles.
- Proven experience working with CI/CD tools (Github, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Harness, Terraform) and writing unit/integration tests.
