About the position

The Java Developer position requires a skilled individual fluent in Spanish to work in a hybrid environment in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on developing and maintaining applications using Java and related technologies, with an emphasis on microservices architecture and UI development using Angular. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in technical discussions, and contribute to improving the team's technical processes.

Responsibilities

  • Strong hands-on experience in Angular Microservices
  • Utilize Java J2EE Fullstack Microservices Spring Springboot Oracle SQL GWT
  • Willingness to cross-skill on other technologies used in the project
  • Experience with tools like BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, VSCode, Eclipse, GIT, Bash is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills to handle stakeholders, clients, and business users
  • Review and implement improvements in team technical debt and coding opportunities
  • Participate in tech redesign discussions and propose improvements
  • Work on UI changes using Angular
  • Analyze complex problems and provide evaluations of business and system processes
  • Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation
  • Consult with users and technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members
  • Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of Microservices architecture and Spring Boot
  • Working experience on UI Framework in Angular
  • Some understanding of Containerization, preferably OpenShift
