About the position

The Java Developer - IV position is a long-term contract role based in Irving, TX, offering a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have between 7 to 10 years of experience in software development, particularly as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Java Spring Boot and ReactJS. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with substantial experience in web, hybrid, and native app development. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of web application architecture, Java/J2EE, and HTML5 development, as well as familiarity with mobile ecosystems. In this role, the developer will be responsible for creating microservices and RESTful APIs, utilizing GraphQL, and leveraging Java web-based technologies. Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Reactive Framework, and Spring Cloud is essential for developing microservices. The candidate should also have experience with a suite of DevOps tools, including Jira, Jenkins, and GIT/Stash, and be familiar with Elastic Search and Kibana. Additionally, the role requires expertise in unit testing, load testing, and automation tools such as JUnit, NUnit, Gatling, Selenium, Watir, and Sitespeed. A strong understanding of secure coding practices, including OWASP guidelines and the use of security scanning software like Fortify and Blackduck, is crucial. The candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills, enabling them to work effectively across organizations and lead cross-functional teams. Familiarity with project management workflows using Jira and Confluence is also required. Responsibilities

Requirements
