About the position

The Java Developer - IV / Full Stack Developer position is a long-term contract role based in Irving, TX, requiring a hybrid work model. The role focuses on developing web and mobile applications using Java Spring Boot and ReactJS, with an emphasis on creating microservices and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, solution architecture, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and hybrid/native applications using Java Spring Boot and ReactJS.
• Create microservices and RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and GIT/Stash for project management and version control.
• Implement secure coding practices and conduct code reviews using OWASP standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Perform unit testing, load testing, and automation using tools like JUnit, NUnit, and Selenium.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and negotiate project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7-10 years of software development experience, particularly in full stack development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in web application architecture and mobile ecosystems.
• Knowledge of creating microservices and working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and DevOps tools.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and experience with security scanning tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Elastic Search and Kibana.
• Familiarity with load testing and automation tools like Gatling and Watir.
• Knowledge of project management tools like Confluence.
