Ouroffice is seeking passionate Java Developers to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver extraordinary service and develop high-quality applications. In this role, you will be responsible for proposing solutions in collaboration with internal teams and clients, developing and maintaining applications, and participating in application and development testing. We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in Java development and are comfortable working in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience building data-driven web applications
  • 2+ years experience developing with Java SE, Java EE, HTML(5), CSS(3), JavaScript (jQuery preferred), AJAX, JSON/XML
  • 2+ years experience working with SOA, Spring DI, Spring MVC, Tomcat/JBoss and Design Patterns
  • RDBMS with experience using MySQL and/or Oracle
  • Version Control (Git / GitHub / Subversion)
  • Formalized QA/testing and revision-based development
  • Experience estimating development project timelines
  • Ability to write clear, web-standard, well documented code
  • Track record working within team environment inclusive of designers, peer developers and business/requirements team
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced high pressure environment with deadlines and high standards
  • Experience implementing complex website and application interface designs
  • Strong understanding of production (mid and senior levels only)
