About the position

The Java Developer role is focused on developing and implementing software solutions using Java and related technologies. The position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle, from inception to implementation. The developer will work collaboratively within teams to design and build complex application systems, particularly in the banking sector, utilizing modern programming practices and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Participate in Agile software development practices throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and build complex application systems.
  • Utilize SCM tools such as GIT and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and documentation for Java/J2EE systems.
  • Work with relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server, and web service technologies including SOAP and REST.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring, Microservices, and Webservices.
  • Experience with PL/SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with SCM tools such as GIT and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with application development using Java, Spring, and MVC frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Java Design Patterns and JUnit for testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with IntelliJ, Maven, and Tomcat.
