About the position

The Java Developer position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing complex Java applications within the MBCIS MDHHS applications. This role is critical for ensuring the stability and functionality of a system used by healthcare organizations for screening and follow-up services. The developer will also act as a technical lead, providing guidance to other developers and participating in various analytical assignments to enhance and implement projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support of complex Java applications.
• Develop enhancements to MBCIS MDHHS applications.
• Write well-designed, testable code using Spring MVC, Hibernate, and other technologies.
• Design and develop RESTful Web Services using Spring Web MVC framework.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Develop database objects including stored procedures and functions.
• Troubleshoot issues using SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develop software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval.
• Design, develop and maintain BI reporting solutions.

Requirements

• 12+ years developing complex computer systems using Java.
• 12+ years developing complex computer systems using Java IDEs such as Eclipse, STS.
• 12+ years programming in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• 8+ years programming using Java JEE Struts Framework.
• 8+ years programming using Java JEE Spring/SpringBoot Framework 3.0.
• 8+ years of development using Hibernate/JPA framework.
• 5+ years experience with AWS, Databricks, and Elastic search.
• 5+ years in projects development using Angular/React JS, JavaScript framework.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or Knowledge on creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops.
