About the position

We are seeking a proficient Java Developer with a strong understanding of Spring Boot and Kafka to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This hybrid position is a 6-month contract to hire, focusing on developing high-performance, scalable applications using Java technologies. The role involves designing and implementing backend services and APIs, ensuring efficient communication between system components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs, adhering to best practices and design principles.
• Implement robust, scalable solutions using Spring Boot framework to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Utilize Kafka for building event-driven architectures, facilitating real-time data processing and communication between services.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java programming language with extensive experience in developing applications.
