About the position

The Java Developer position at Insight Global involves joining a growing team within the Identity organization for a large-scale FinTech client. The role focuses on enhancing development features related to authorizations, authentication, logins, and security. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong Java/J2EE coding skills and have experience with authentication and authorization standards such as SAML and SSO.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features related to authorizations and authentication.
• Implement secure login mechanisms and improve security protocols.
• Build and create REST APIs, focusing on development best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Handle fast-paced development environments and adapt to changing requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Java/J2EE development role.
• Strong coding abilities and knowledge of best practices.
• Proficient in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in building REST APIs is essential.
• Strong knowledge of multi-factor authentication development.
• Experience with SQL Server and strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with open-source identity solutions and login systems.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and JavaScript.
