About the position

The Java Developer with AWS-Cloud Platform role at Donato Technologies involves developing and maintaining applications using Java technologies while leveraging AWS cloud services. The position requires hands-on experience with various AWS services and a strong understanding of Java development, particularly with Spring Boot and REST APIs. The role is focused on coding and basic configuration, with additional responsibilities in front-end design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java technologies.
• Utilize AWS services such as EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Implement Terraform scripting for infrastructure management.
• Work with authentication frameworks like ADFS, OAuth, and KMS.
• Collaborate on front-end development using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS, and Cloud Watch.
• Proficiency in Java 1.8+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs and Terraform scripting.
• Familiarity with authentication frameworks such as ADFS, OAuth, KMS, and Kerberos.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cassandra and Kafka.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with testing tools like PostMan, JMeter, and BlazeMeter.
• Domain knowledge in credit card authentication functionality.
