About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with extensive experience in Crypto Services to join our team. This position is a W2 role based in either Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX, and is expected to last for a duration of 6+ months. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining large-scale applications in both on-premises and cloud environments. The successful candidate will be proficient in using Dropwizard and have experience with Slack development and open-source projects. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential, as you will be involved in designing, developing, and implementing applications that meet the needs of our clients. You will also be expected to demonstrate professional design skills and contribute to open-source initiatives. In addition to Java, familiarity with Angular JS and Node JS programming is required. You should have experience with various database and persistence frameworks, including MongoDB and Oracle, and be adept at performance tuning for queries. Knowledge of web services, specifically REST and SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML), is also necessary for this role. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale applications in hosted production environments both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Utilize Dropwizard for building Java applications.

• Optimize database performance and conduct query performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain web services using REST and SOAP protocols.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
